Quality Control

Quality control is not a single step — it’s a system. Our QC workflow combines incoming checks, in-process control, and final inspection to support consistent results for brand orders.

What we focus on
Material consistency · Measurements · Color and print clarity · Workmanship · Packing readiness
Quality control inspection for custom silk production

Our QC Framework

A practical inspection flow designed for custom silk production — clear checkpoints, traceable standards, and consistent execution from fabric to shipment.

01. Incoming Inspection

Fabric & Trims Check

We screen fabric batches and trims before production to reduce defect risk and keep consistency across lots.

02. In-Process Control

Production Checkpoints

Mid-production checks help catch issues early—before they become repeat defects across the whole order.

03. Final Inspection

Before Packing & Shipping

We verify finished goods, packing method, labeling, and carton integrity to ensure shipment readiness.

Incoming inspection for silk fabric rolls

Incoming Inspection

We inspect silk fabric and trims before production begins. This reduces rework and stabilizes output across bulk orders.

Typical checks include
  • Surface defects: snags, pulls, stains, weaving marks
  • Momme and hand-feel consistency (batch-to-batch)
  • Base shade and fabric cleanliness
  • Trims: labels, zippers, buttons, elastic, threads

In-Process Quality Control

Silk is sensitive to tension, heat, and handling. In-process QC helps keep printing and sewing stable throughout production.

Printing & Color Checks

  • Print clarity and edge definition
  • Color consistency vs. approved sample
  • Registration and alignment for repeated patterns
  • Common risk checks: banding, uneven saturation

Cutting & Sewing Checks

  • Pattern placement and symmetry where required
  • Stitch density and seam strength
  • Clean edges, smooth seams, stable construction
  • Finishing control: hems, edges, and internal tidy-up

Final Inspection & Shipment Readiness

Final inspection confirms the finished goods match the approved specifications and are ready for packing and delivery.

Final audit covers
  • Measurements: key points checked against spec sheet
  • Appearance: stains, creases, surface defects
  • Workmanship: seams, edges, embroidery, accessories
  • Packing: folding, polybags, labels, inserts
  • Cartons: counts, carton marks, protection

Brand QC Alignment

If you have a brand checklist, AQL requirement, or special inspection points, we can adapt the QC plan and add checkpoints based on your standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers for brand buyers and sourcing teams.

Incoming fabric inspection, in-process checks during printing and sewing, measurement verification, workmanship and finishing review, final inspection before packing, and shipment readiness checks.
We verify key measurement points against the approved spec sheet. Random sampling is performed in production and again during final inspection to confirm tolerance and consistency.
Yes. If you provide your checklist or AQL requirement, we can align the inspection plan and add additional checkpoints where needed to meet your internal standards.
Yes. Upon request, we can provide production photos, packing photos, and basic inspection summaries to support your approval workflow.
We isolate the affected items, identify the cause, and apply corrective actions before the order moves forward. This helps prevent the same issue from repeating across the full production.
